Dennis is a founding Partner of the Firm, and has over fifteen years of experience representing boards of education. He concentrates his practice in the area of board counsel and has specific expertise in the areas of negotiations, construction, personnel, and student code of conduct issues. Dennis regularly attends school board meetings, drafts and reviews board policies and regulations, and provides legal opinions on all areas of labor relations and school district operations. Dennis appears routinely before PERC, the Office of Administrative Law, Superior Court, and the American Arbitration Association for both labor and construction disputes. He represents his clients in all facets of the negotiations process up to and including fact-finding. Dennis’ experience in construction law begins with review of bid specifications. He has handled the Project close-out and dispute resolution including resolution of outstanding change orders and New Jersey’s mechanic’s lien law.
Dennis appears on lecture panels for the New Jersey School Boards Association, New Jersey Association of School Business Officials, and the Seton Hall Superintendent Study Council. He frequently provides legal training for his clients, including board workshops, administrator trainings, and staff seminars.
Prior to becoming one of the founding Partners of the Firm, Dennis was a Shareholder at a mid-sized general practice firm where he was a member of the Education Law Group.
